Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in power within the city.
Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.
The Warrior Group Introduced
The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.
The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.
Characteristics of the Combat Party
Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where diplomatic options are rare.
Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Motivations for Departure
First, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.
The antagonist then cleared his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure knows the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
- The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
- Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
- Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.
Fugitives
Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
- Thimble and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
- The strong figure and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.
This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.
